The weekend travel forecast:
Snow is in the forecast for this weekend which always results in slower I-70 travel.  Check the road conditions at CoTrip.org before you travel.

Friday WB – Light traffic is possible from 3:00-8:30 p.m., especially in the Floyd Hill area. Last year, that traffic resulted in only 10 minute delays.

Saturday WB - Heavy traffic is likely from 6:30 a.m.-Noon with the peak around 8:00 a.m.  Last year the traffic resulted in an extra hour of travel time between C-470 and Frisco.

Saturday EB- Moderate traffic is likely to build by 2:00 pm, peak around 5:00 pm and dissipate by 7:00 pm.  Last year the congestion resulted in an extra 25 minutes of travel time.

Sunday WB – Minor delays might occur between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.   There were no delays the previous two years on this day.

Sunday EB - Heavy traffic is expected to develop by 11:00 a.m. and should dissipate by 7:00 p.m.
