GoI70 text alerts went out at 3:45 to inform I70 was closed from the tunnels to Georgetown, 3:54 closed at Silverthorne, 4:02 closed Copper to Vail, and 4:35 reconfirming that info. The Floyd Hill closure was missed and I apologize. We get our information from CDOT and the county alerts system, but they are far from perfect. The crazy amount of data coming through yesterday from that great storm did help us identify some ways to improve how we deliver information and we are working on that immediately. I appreciate you contacting us and sorry you felt the service wasn’t worthy.

Hi Jerry,
Take a look at the date and time stamp to verify that they are really the same message. The format we use to report delays is set so often times it looks very similar. If you are truly getting the same message three times, I believe it would be a Twitter issue as that is the service we use for our text messages. Thank you for using GoI70.com!

Dont bother with their text message updates. I-70 is currently closed at Vail, Silverthorne and Floyd hill but yet not a single text message. Superb implementation!!!

Hi Steve,
You posted this question awhile ago. I am now managing this site and want to make sure you got the info you needed. You turn off alerts by going to Twitter and UNFOLLOW GoI70. I hope that helps, but I also hope that now that ski season is starting up, you will want to receive them! Thanks,

I want to stop recieving alerts . How do I do this?
