Skiing & Travel Look Good For Weekend!

The ski season might have gotten off to a slow start, but the ski areas along the I-70 corridor have enjoyed a snowy week and the conditions are great!  A dry Friday and Saturday will turn to forecasted snow Saturday night into Sunday.  Weather shouldn’t impact travel significantly this weekend and neither should volume.  We are reaching the end of spring break, and although there are plenty of folks traveling to the mountains, traffic is spread across both weekdays and weekends.  It should be a great ski weekend!

Your Weekend Travel Forecast:

Friday WB
– Expect some slow traffic from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Saturday WB – There could be minor delays between 6:30-9:30 a.m.

Saturday EB-Last year, there were 10 minutes of delay between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Sunday EB – Expect some traffic volume in the 3:30-6:30 p.m. timeframe, and winter weather might cause additional slowing.  Last year there no significant delays.
