I-70 Focus of Live Facebook Event

This month's CDOT On Air broadcast will be right up your alley. This event will kick off at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, on the Colorado Department of Transportation Facebook page, www.facebook.com/coloradodot. Just scroll down to the page's posts, where you'll see the broadcast.  Margaret Bowes, director of the I-70 Coalition and the GoI70.com program will join Shailen Baht, CDOT Executive Director.  They will be talking about recent and future I-70 improvements and taking your questions about top corridor priorities and the funding needed to make them reality.

Weekend Travel Forecast
Friday WB – Expect heavy traffic between 11:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.   Traffic could result in up to 30 minutes extra travel time, and will likely be at its peak between 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Saturday WB – Traffic is likely to be heavy from about 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Delays will likely peak between Noon and 3:00 p.m. with approximately 40 extra minutes of travel time.

Saturday EB- No delays are anticipated.

Sunday EB – Expect heavy traffic between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with metering likely at the Eisenhower tunnel.   Last year, travelers experienced the worst of the traffic with approximately 50 minute delays during the 1:00-5:00 p.m. timeframe.  This is a good weekend to stay a Sunday night, and save
