Lawmakers Consider Transportation Funding

For the first time in 25 years, Colorado’s legislature is considering a significant transportation funding proposal.  If you want to see improvements to Colorado’s roads and transit systems, please contact your legislator and encourage them to put a proposal on the November 2017 for voter consideration. Let your elected officials know you support investing in Colorado’s transportation infrastructure!  Don't know who your legislator is? Find them here

Your Weekend Travel Forecast:
Traffic volume is pretty spread out this time of year, so the extreme weekend delays due to volume are behind us until June.  No snow is in the forecast, and the temps should be warm.  Enjoy the spring skiing conditions!

Friday WB – No volume-related congestion is expected.

Saturday WB – Traffic is likely from 6:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with peak delays occurring around 8:00 a.m.

Saturday EB- Congestion is not anticipated.

Sunday EB –There were no extreme delays on this day over the last three years. Last year slowing traffic resulted in an extra 10 minutes of travel time between 2:00-6:30 p.m.  The I-70 Mountain Express Lane will open if volumes dictate, so don’t expect any major congestion-related delays.
