Snow Along I-70!

Traffic volume should not be an issue this weekend, but weather will be a factor.  Heavy snow along/near the divide is forecasted for Friday night into Saturday morning but the rest of the weekend should be dry.

Friday WB
–No volume-related delays are anticipated, but be prepared for winter driving conditions.

Saturday WB – There could be 10-20 minute delays between 6:00-9:00 a.m. with the peak traffic occurring around 7:30/8:00 a.m.  Morning snow could result in even slower moving traffic.

Saturday EB- Congestion due to volume is not expected to be an issue.

Sunday EB – Last year on this day there were minor delays (5-10 minutes) between 3:30-6:30 p.m., but that was due in part to an accident.  The previous two years there were no delays on this Sunday.
