Prior to the kickoff of summer concerts, the Dillon Amphitheater committed to sharing information about alternative transportation options since it draws statewide to its unique music venue. A combination of the anticipated influx of traffic for the jam-packed concert schedule mixed with the start of the I-70 construction season created a clear need for education about travel to and from Dillon. The variety of available transit in the area make getting to the amphitheater both easier and safer than driving.
As part of the partnership, GoI70 provided Dillon Amphitheater with pre-concert messaging, updates to the “Getting There” page on the website, social media content for their high-attendance events with a statewide draw, and even custom bathroom signage to educate attendees about the alternatives to driving. Thanks to our friends at Dillon Amphitheater and the Town of Dillon for helping us get the word out about how easy it can be to travel the I-70 mountain corridor and around town without a car!
