Hey there, trailblazers! Elevate your outdoor adventures to superhero status. Thanks to the Summit County Open Space and Trails Department and the Summit Stage’s Transit to Trails program, you can access trails without the headache of navigating driving and parking. If you’re coming from the Front Range, catch Bustang or Pegasus at Denver Union Station or the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood and take it to the Frisco Transit Center. From there, you can catch the Summit Stage and access various trails. Whether you’re an avid hiker, a mountain biker, or simply in search of a scenic stroll, the Transit to Trails program has you covered.

 Frisco to Breckenridge: Where the Journey Begins

Are you ready to explore the Frisco to Breckenridge corridor? The Summit Stage Community Center stop leads you straight to the Miners Creek Trailhead, where the Rainbow Lake, Miners Creek, Ophir Mountain, and Peaks Trail await. Or hop off at the Revett Drive stop and head for the Gold Hill Trailhead, which opens up the world of Frisco Recpath, Gold Hill, and even segments 6 and 7 of the Colorado Trail.

Boreas Pass Loop: Adventure Around Every Bend

The Summit Stage Emmit Lode stop will whisk you away to the Baldy Trailhead, where the True Romance, Mountain Pride, Pinball Alley, and Baldy Mountain trails beckon. Meanwhile, exit at the Rock Ridge stop to access the Sallie Barber Trailhead, which unveils the mysteries of Juniata, Barney Ford, Sallie Barber Road, and V3. The adventure is endless, and the scenery is unbeatable!

Copper Mountain: A Mountain Oasis Awaits

If Copper Mountain is calling your name, the Woodbridge stop leads to the North Tenmile Trailhead. Experience the Tenmile Recpath, North Tenmile Creek, and the scenic Mountain Royal. Alternatively, hop off the Summit Stage at the Copper Entrance and prepare for a journey through the Tenmile Recpath, Fremont Recpath, Vail Pass Recpath, and even segments 7 and 8 of the Colorado Trail. Your mountain oasis awaits!

Wilderness Loop: Discover Hidden Gems

The Trailhead stop on Summit Stage’s Wilderness Loop holds hidden gems like the Lily Pad and Buffalo Cabin Trailhead, where you can explore Lily Pad Lake, Buffalo Mountain, Gore Range, and Willow Creek Falls. Or, venture to the Silver Queen East stop for the Salt Lick Trailhead, featuring the Upper and Lower Salt Lick trails. There’s no shortage of wilderness wonders to uncover!

Last but not least, if you’re heading from Silverthorne to Keystone, River Run is your gateway to adventure. The Keystone Recpath and Snake River Recpath will take you on a scenic journey like no other.
