CDOT Opens up the Lines of Communications through Customer Service Hotlines

At GoI70, we know that a safe and reliable drive through Colorado’s I-70 Mountain Corridor depends on the hard work of the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). From snow removal in winter to managing highway repairs and construction during peak travel seasons, CDOT plays a critical role in keeping Colorado moving.

But did you know that CDOT is responsible only for certain roads across the state? With more than 23,000 lane miles of highways and over 3,400 bridges under its care – including interstates, U.S. highways and state highways – it is no small task. However, local roads and residential streets are maintained by cities and counties, not CDOT.

Knowing the difference is key when you want to report an issue or get help.

Who to Call When You Spot a Problem on a Highway or Interstate

If you notice a pothole, debris on the highway, or any other non-emergency issue along your route, CDOT’s Customer Service Team is the best place to start. They’re available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and can assist you quickly and efficiently.

Here’s how to get in touch:
